After struggling through B-Law in Wiley REG, I finally feel comfortable with all of these sections in the test bank (after much study), consistently scoring in the high 70’s in all practice sessions EXCEPT for commercial paper…

Commercial paper has been giving me headaches for the pas few weeks. The subject matter is just utterly absurd. Why would a check be negotiated over and over again to 7 or 8 different people? The questions are just sooo convoluted.

I test for REG on Saturday (7/30), and have made a strategic decision to not waste anymore time on commercial paper.

Anyone else out there struggled through this section?

Haha. The Wiley test bank absolutely kills me with commercial paper. I think I scored less than 50% on it and eventually gave up. Im not spending another minute on it. Just know the basics and leave it at that.

If you have Ninja notes, then the information provided in those for CP is sufficient in my opinion.

Wiley goes way too in depth on some things, and not in depth enough on other. Commercial paper they go overboard, and you're right, the number of times they transfer checks and notes is asinine. You can actually make a flowchart to show the transfers.

I allowed myself a weakness or two in each section. Commercial paper was one of my weaknesses. I passed Reg with an 89 so it worked out for me.

Commercial paper is a great example of how antiquated the exam is. They are really stuck in their testing ways.

@Taxlady, I have Becker Final Review in addition to my Wiley materials. It does a great job of bringing together the business law subjects.

I understand commercial paper 100%…I just cannot score well on the WTB….

This will be my weak area…
