Does anyone know how significant the changes, if any, were since 2013 to the Reg portion of the exam? I have Becker for 2013 but I’m worried it maybe it’s outdated. Can anyone advise if I can still use it? I would possibly take Reg in first half of January 2015. Thanks to all!

Check out this link for 2014 updates from becker for the book, i think you can still use the 2013 book if you just refer to these..

Thanks @pia ach. I think you would be right here since Reg only updates once a year in July, right? Practically all he changes are limited to dollar amounts/thresholds….which are very minimally tested to begin with. I'm just wondering; in the first paragraph it says, “If you have a V1.0 REG textbook purchased between November 2013 and the end of April 2014″…..mine was bought in Sept 2013. Why would it be different if bought before Nov 2013? What do they mean with that sentence? Thanks!

If it's worth the risk of studying something that's been outdated or changed and getting it wrong on the exam, then it's fine.

if you want to hedge your bets and supplement with something updated (NINJA Notes) – then consider that.

You think that should work, to study with my Becker 2013 and supplement? You suggest supplementing with the ninja notes. Or should I go with the ninja blitz videos? How about if I ONLY studied with the videos and used the Becker MCQ that I have?

I wouldn't study with 2013 materials if it were me.

You can pass REG with NINJA Notes + NINJA MCQ if you use the MCQ like a video course and really invest a lot of time.
