I purchased the Kaplan study materials in June 2009, I am not studying for REG, and will be taking the exam January 30, 2010. Will it make any difference that my materials are from 2009, and the test will be in 2010. My only concern is that some tax laws may have been modified for the new year.

miamichew i would think you are ok using 2009 materials if you sit jan 2010. for REG, a lot of the exemptions, tax rates, etc. are not tested or they are given to you in the question. Jeff mentioned topics that you should focus more on, like Section 179 threshold. From my own experience, i would focus attention on chapter 3! lots of my questions came from there. good luck!
