I am having hard time grasping the material in Business Law, so far done with contract, sales, commercial paper and secured transactions. I know that the whole Business law only cover about 20% in exam. Do I really have to master this topic , its lots of material or am I stressing too much here? What is your thoughts?

Do you really want to take the chance at not knowing some of the material very well? That's how I think about much of the material that might not seem important.

What's even better is being at a small public firm for 7 years I've applied hardly any of the business law stuff (ever). So not only do I consider it not important, I hadn't used any of it since college. I spent a bunch of time on the business law stuff. I also passed. The cpa exam isn't something you want to be under prepared for.

The first time I watched the Law videos I was getting some things but most of it was Greek. I then attempted questions to practice as I thought it would make sense this way and it didn't

I then re-watched the videos and that is when things started to click as I would be like oh ya I remember that from this question.. oh yes that's why I got that wrong etc …

I ended up becoming very strong in Law and I will say that really helped in the exam when I passed REG. It actually can be very easy mark to pick up. You just need to take the time and invest into really understanding the concepts.

Yes you need to know your business law stuff or you'll never pass..speaking from experience lol.. It's heavily tested in MCQ
