    Does anyone know if partnerships are also subject to built in gains tax when property is contributed? I’m using Becker and the built in gains is in the S Corps section, however I just ran into a MCQ for a partnership with a built in gain. I didn’t see anything in Becker talking about built in gains for partnerships though, only S corps.

    Yes. Partners contributing property have built-in gains.
