REG – Are business law sims common?

    I know business law supposedly makes up a good chunk of the MCQs, but should I be worried about seeing a sim? I know anything is fair game, but I didn’t know how common they were. Without violating disclosure rules, does anyone have an idea?

    I would just study the tax simulations. If you see a BLAW simulation it will probably be a short one with those “choose from these answers” kind of simulation. Which is 3-4 multiple choice questions. If you study BLAW m/c's well it should probably translate well. They can't really test you on numerical questions on BLAW so I can't think of what else they could do. Honestly I would probably have been happy to have seen a BLAW sim.

    I have been told, no, and I did not see one. ALSO, though, please review BLaw. It's worth it. It is sprinkled throughout the exam. Follow the CSO.

    I'm definitely going to review blaw. I'm actually doing it first to get it out of the way 🙂 I just wasn't doing any practice sims and didn't know if I should or not. Sounds like skipping them should be okay! Thank goodness…the sooner I can get through this crap and get to tax, the better 🙂

    It really doesn't hurt to do them though. The Becker one takes like 1 minute to do it.

    Blaw and ethics collectively take up almost 40% of the exam. Since you likely won't get a sim on either, that means you will get a lot of mcq's on those topics. If your review course has them, then it's not a bad idea to try them. At least it will test your knowledge in a different way than doing mcq's over and over.

    Yes you can definitely get a SIM in BLaw. Do not skip BLaw, learn it and love it.
