iv only taken FAR and passed.. rank it to FAR please.. also no previous tax work.. only my federal income tax course.. recently started doing some tax work at my firm but the software handles most of the work

After taking all 4, I'd say REG was the most challenging for me because I have no tax experience. Having said that, I'd say REG and FAR were really close in difficulty for me. Both are a painfully large amount of material so it's a difficult task not to get overwhelmed. I highly advise keeping in mind the core concepts… Know tax basis and treatment of contributing/distributing property to/from partnerships and corporations. Know your above and below the line deductions. Blaw is a lot of material but try not to get TOO hung up on it. Know the concepts but don't feel like you need to know every little detail.

Ninja Notes and Ninja Audio were a HUGE help for me, I suggest buying them both…. I ended up with a 91 first try and NINJA material helped a TON!

91 thats crazy.. i heard you dont really need to do calculations, just know the theory behind it.. i have a feeling individual will be heavily tested as well as liabilty and laws

I was kind of intimidated by REG before I started studying because I have very little experience with the material (especially tax) in general, but I've found studying for it no more difficult than studying for FAR. I've been scoring in the 70s on the MCQ for tax and 80s for law. Not great, but not really concerning considering I scored about the same for FAR and did well on the exam.

It's easy to stress about all the little details, but I feel like that's not going to be the difference between a pass and a fail. If you understand the concepts I'm sure you'll be fine. Just treat it like you did for FAR.
