As you guys may know, a new year usually means some tax changes. The new medical deductions for 2013 (REG book 2014) are now in excess of 10% AGI. There is an exception though for people 65 and older. They are still at 7.5% in excess of AGI.
This information is in the new 2014 REG Becker book, but you have to look for it. They don’t tell you that in the lectures.

I’ve encountered this exception when doing Becker MCQ’s for AMT itemized deductions
We can do this. It is a difficult journey, but it'll feel wonderful once we are done. Then at that time, we'll reap in all the benefits.
