Hello, I am taking REG for the 2nd time on April 2nd, and for people who have taken REG twice and passed, what was your re-study plan? I am using Becker and Wiley Test Bank for this. Did you listen to lectures again? Did you re-read? Or did you just do as many MCQs as possible?

Dont' re-watch the lectures, its a waste of time unless on the material that you know your are weak. What I did was I re-read the section (ie: R1 and R2 are related) and re-do all the MCQs. I like to get random 30 MCQs by each chapter and keep doing it until I feel comfortable (scoring 90 or above). Do this chapter by chapter and focus on the material that you are weak (for me it was the Corporation Taxation, I re-watch the lectures and re-write my notes). Once you get comfortable with the whole chapters then you can do the progressive test which means do 100 MCQs at a time. You should aim to score around 80 or above with the progressive test. However you have to take this many times (I did 12 progrssive test) and you can simultanously supplement your Becker MCQs with the Wiley test bank. As for the SIM, I find its the hardest. My logic is if you know your REG material well then when you are working on your SIM, you should be able to answer most of them. Granted that some SIMs are not worded properly (in attempts to confuse us) or even not in the Becker study material but you just have to do your best to nail them down. You can practice using Becker (which I find to be completely off then the real SIM – waste of your time) or use Wiley for the SIM (I only heard it has pretty good SIM but I never used it so I dont know for sure).

This is the method that I used to pass my REG second test. I only managed to bump my score from 73 to 78 but I was happy because I passed.
