I took REG yesterday, and needless to say it will be a tough month for me waiting. When I was checking out of the testing center, the woman told me: “we’ll see you next time.” I told her, I hoped not since I might be done. Does anyone know if the prometric people can see how you are doing on the exam?? Her comment sort of disturbed me, especially since she repeated it a second time when I was walking out the door…

I would definitely think no. I think there is no way for them to know. They probably get paid minimum wage and they wouldn't be individuals that could be trusted with score results. I'd say the lady is a little weird. Maybe she can't pass REG so she wants to intimidate everyone else. You'll laugh when you get your score, cause you are probably just fine!

LADavid, I would report the Prometric woman; go on the website and complain. I would also complain to your state board of accountancy, too. That is unnecessary and rude. They need not forget we are CUSTOMERS paying a hefty price to take this exam and use their less than advanced technology to do so.

I agree. We pay good money to use their facility to take this brutal exam. I took my BEC yesterday and when I walked out the lady said, “Now which test were you taking? The GED?” I just looked at her like she was insane and said “No, the CPA”. Some things are better left “unsaid”!!!!

I'm not going to report it. I didn't feel great about REG, and when she said that to me I thought perhaps she had been able to see how I was doing. With some exams they give you the results immediately (for example, the brokerage exams such as Series 7).
