Guys..

I am in two minds.. have finished ethics, Individual taxes and property taxes in Reg.. started corporate taxes now.. I am using Gleim and Ninja so too many questions that is taking time!

I am testing on 26th which is 18 days from now.. I need at least 7 days for final review.. will I be able to finish Corporate tax, Partnership, Blaw and wealth tax in that time ? I scored decently in FAR -90 and Audit -99 ( worked in audit). I am struggling with Reg and I start B school next month so that’s some pressure as well!

Help advise based on your experience. My plan B is to finish reading by this month and work Ninja questions next month ( I have school… !) and take the test early Oct.

So you're telling me you have between 140-180 hours study time available and you're worried? I think you'll be fine, just keep doing what you do and do a bunch of MCQ

Some people might disagree with me on this, but… Don't bother with the reading. Do a ton of MCQs. Only read if you don't understand something. The reading goes into way more detail than you really need. There are several other people on here who have used this exact same strategy, and it works.

You can totally knock this out if you just focus on doing as many MCQs as possible until your test date. Trust me. I agree with you that you should finish going over new material one week before your test date so you can review everything, but keep reviewing every day the whole time you're studying. Don't wait to do all of your review during the last week. Hang in there. You can do this. Don't reschedule.

I'd say go for it! I'll be joining you after my BEC this wednesday, so know that you won't be alone =P Mines on the 27th. 8-14 hour days have become the past month for me…

But also, my motive is free time for two months; and I'm a firm believer that if you gave me an extra week, I guarantee I won't take advantage of it till maybe Day 4. so why wait ya know?

Everyone is different, but for REG I looked at the slideshows in CPAExcel which summed up the videos. Took me a week to get through everything because I skipped business law. Killed business law ninja notes, and then killed MCQ for every section.

I struggled in partnership, but was good at individual and property. I allowed myself enough time on the sims to look up every answer in the IRC. I wouldn't have passed without how much time I left myself on the sims.

It's doable. I did all this in about 4 weeks off and on, while on vacation for a week also

Definitely for blaw. It's very cut and dry. All concepts, no calculations.

I rushed through blaw because I was running out of time. Most of the questions I remember I got wrong on the test were blaw and yet I passed.
