For those who have sat for REG recently or those who know how the exam is tested, what new tax numbers (phase-outs, exemptions, etc.) do I need to memorize for the exam. I am studying Becker 2010. Also, where is a good place to find these new numbers?

Study your Becker material and you will do just fine.

I am studying REG right now. Look at the becker support site to grab the updated info and updates/corrections.

They really don't expect you to memorize stuff like that. Their goal is to test your application not to see if you can memorize all the phase-outs, thresholds, etc. Especially since some things change from year to year and there's all this new legislation going on. If you can do your becker stuff, you should be in good shape. Becker wants you to memorize a lot more stuff just in case you get a wild question like that on the real exam.

Im studying for reg using becker 2009, for the 2010 test. What I do is go the the updates section and update what they tell you to there, but in all reality it would be absurd for them to expect you to memorize the threshold, limits, etc. I've talked to people who have taken reg and passed in the 90's, 2 diff people, and they used becker, didnt even use the updates, and said they didnt have to know all the little details for most things.

I don't think the super specifics matter but for things like no estate tax in 2010. That means you just don't have to study the section really, right?
