Some posts here helped me have an idea of the exam scenario b4 sitting for the test on the 7th. So i just wanto give my 2cents in return.

Having spent a minimum of 5hrs/day for 2-3 weeks in the basement with an ’09 gleim & a current wiley (textbooks), i realized that cpa tax & law is a vast ocean. By the 7th, i was far from confident – so i prayed to God just for a 75.

I had stategy going in. 30 mins for each multiple testlet & remaining time for sims. Ist testlet came & was done in 31 mins; 2nd testlet, things got serious & about 37 mins went by. Like the 2nd testlet, i let myself linger around afew qns on the third one – bad decision! That took around 40 precious mins. I barely had an hour going into the sims. I dont intend to freak anyone out but just like other posts have indicated, half the sims were from another planet.I think i stared at the 1st one for about 5 mins b4 engaging my medulla into drive. The sims i was sure were gonna be tested never showed up. Reg is a nerve wrecking ocean, endless possibilities!

Needless to say, God heard my prayer coz i got a pass email 2day! I’ve been targeting BEC next but i couldnt study at all the last two weeks while waiting for the results & biting my toes. Anyway, if i did REG again, i’d ensure the sims got not less than 90 mins. Also, i’d skim through the sims and do the less challenging ones first. If a MC qn is unfamiliar, i’d guess smartly & move on.Dont be tempted to tackle any Reg MC qn for long.

BEC – AUD – FAR, here i come!!!
