    Hi Everyone,

I have been visiting this website for the past few weeks and finally decided to register and post 🙂

I have taken BEC and AUD and passed both of them on my first try using Becker only. My plan is to tackle REG next and I would like to get your opnion on how well Becker prepares you for REG. I have noticed a trend that Becker is not very solid when it comes to REG but please let me know if you have faced a similar situation. Have you passed REG by just using Becker? Or do you recommend supplementing it with another courese, and if so, which one? Or do you recommend just using Becker since it has helped me pass both BEC and AUD?

    Thank you for your time!

I just found out that passed REG the first time only using Becker, but it was a closed one, I would strongly suggest you purchase Ninja, Ninja is what helped me passed audit the second time around and my score was solid 🙂

Just found out I passed REG with a 75 using only becker. I was very close to buying the Roger Cram for REG, but ended up not doing it. I wasn't confident with the way Becker prepared me.

When I was thinking about getting the roger cram for reg, I talked to a couple people that said it was very good and worth the money, so i would recommend trying it. Plus its only a little bit more expensive then having to register to take REG again.

Passed REG with Becker only. Got a 78. That is with zero tax experience save college courses.

I passed REG on the first attempt with 88. It seems the Becker method or presentation makes sense to you so I think if you already have the materials then go ahead with it. Other courses may work for some people or others or as a supplement, but if you really study it hard then any complete materials should work fine. Good luck!

    BEC 86 (08/30/11)
    FAR 84 (10/13/11)
    REG 88 (11/08/11)
    AUD 86 (11/29/11)

    Exam prep - Becker self-study

The study material and tricks for remembering are good with Becker, and I thought the prep for MCQ's was ok. But I thought their simulations were awful. I've failed REG 3 times with Becker, I've come within just a couple of points every time, and this last time my notice from the examiners said I was either ‘comparable' or ‘stronger' than average with the MCQ section, it's only the simulations that are killing me. My other 3 sections were ok with Becker. I'm leaning toward either Wiley or Ninja for REG now since my Becker expired.

    BEC: 2/12/2011 = 78
    FAR: 2/19/2011 = 73, 7/9/2011 = 80
    AUD: 4/30/2011 = 76
    REG: 4/2/2011 = 74, 8/20/2011 = 71, 11/19/2011 = 73, 2/25/2012 = 89!!!

Passed REG with 85 using only Becker. Simulations on the real exam don't look anything like the ones on Becker but if you go through all the homework problems on Becker AND simulations, you should develop good enough foundation to hold your own on the real exam. Be sure not to blow off ancillary section on A4 or business law for that matter. Everything is fair game on the real exam.

    AUD - 97
