So I got my score yesterday for REG and I passed with an 82! And honestly, I know there was no way I did good on the simulations. I was so lost on 5 of the 6. Just tried to make educated guesses as they are so hard to study for. So bottom line is make sure you knock the Multiple choice out of the ball park and just try your best on the SIMS.

    One more to go baby!

    BEC: 74, 77

    FAR: 81

    REG: 65, 82

    AUD: January 2013

I felt the exact same way that I did pretty good on the MC and the SIMS were just impossible and also walked away with an 82. Good Luck with your last test, I still got two to go but hopefully by next spring I will be a CPA if I can just get through this beast called FAR.

    AUD - 08/20/12 - 82
    REG - 10/30/12 - 82
    FAR - 01/05/13 - 80
    BEC - 04/15/13 - 84

You can do it! People make such a big deal about FAR. I'm not the smartest person in the world and I passed on my first time. Just put the time in. Good luck!

Thanks for you experience! I'm taking REG in two weeks and I'm really worried about the SIMS. People keep saying that they will make or break you. I'm just going to do the Becker SIMS as much as possible and hopefully the concepts covered inthe MCQ will carry me through!

I took REG a couple days ago and my sims seemed easy. I'm not sure if this is a good sign or bad. I still wasn't sure on them, but it covered topics that, honestly, seemed very straightforward but ones that I didn't cover. Hopefully, I pass.

    Journey begins in July 2012.

    FAR - 87 (8/7/2012)
    REG - 89 (11/19/2012)
    AUD - 95 (1/17/2013)
    BEC - 81 (2/26/2013)

@ Cardea, I think that's all you can really do is go through the Becker SIMS once or twice…Just try your best to know the concepts because it is likely that you will see some off the wall SIMS and you will have to make educated guesses. Atleast that was my experience. @Mr. Nice Watch, I'm sure you passed, I know it sucks to wait because you want to move on to your next one to study.

    @Kirikr1

This post cheered me up. If you were lost on 5 of 6 SIMs and passed, that's good news. I got 3 ridiculous ass SIMs on topics that were barely covered in Becker, so I made educated guesses (I was low on time and the authoritative literature didn't help very much). Anyway, FAR is easier than REG. It's harder to study for FAR because of the amount of material, but in my experience, FAR was straightforward while REG was off the wall.

@Mr. X – Sorry but it sounds like you are asking for an exam disclosure. That's a no-no! If it's in the Content Specific Outline, it's fair game on the exam.
