My experience w/ REG

I took REG on Friday, and I’m pretty confused by how I did.

Most of my MCQs were related to B-law &/or Ethics…very few related to taxation.

Does that mean I wasn’t doing well on my testlets and thus kept being tested on law?

Testlet #1: Seemed okay, marked about 4-5,

Testlet #2: Same as first, marked about 3-4. Had couple left field questions..

Tesetlet #3: Same as other two, marked about 4-5.

SIMS weren’t too bad either. I wasn’t 100% confident, but they seemed manageable. I’m pretty sure I got research question and one other SIMS right, for sure!!

Where do I stand in passing this? I have taken this exam before, and most of my MCQs related to tax rather than b-law…

I’m so nervous. Just praying for a 75!!

My experience with these exams is that… If you get out feeling just ok… Chances are that you passed it….

Mine is on Tuesday.. and I know I am going to fail and I don't want to study because of it… this one will also have a rematch…. I wanted to pass each one on my first try… but my laziness and “tiredness” is taking the best of me…

    B - 62, 70, 72, 79!!!
    A - 68, 81
    R - 70, 82
    F - 84

The first time I took REG, I walked out feeling miserable and failed.

The second time, I walked out feeling like I kicked butt, yet failed by 1 point.

Yesterday, the third time, I walked out just feeling ok. I really don't know what that means.

I took REG yesterday (first time, first exam ever) and am conflicted. I feel like I knew the majority of mcq's and freaked out initially on the Sims. Once I calmed myself, I was able to work through them. How well, I'm still unsure. I didnt necessarily guess on any of them, and completed them all. It took me forever to find my research answer but I eventually did. All I can say is the one sim I did not want to get, I got, of course! Hope y'all passed!!

@jokami: I agree. There's no way to tell how you did on the exam based on your feelings.

@CPAman: EXACT feelings. This was my 3rd time taking REG as well…I felt miserable 1st time & failed w/ 71. Second time, I thought I would at least get 80+ & ended up with a 72 (studied for a week and skipped entire b-law). This time, I studied EVERYTHING…read the book twice, did all the MCQs, etc etc yet I don't have a good feeling about it. I feel like my testlets didn't get harder. I'm so nervous and on verge of emotional breakdown just thinking about the exam.

@Crockpot: I'm glad your experience went well…it sounds like you'll pass:)

Ah Wish us all luck!!! Nervous & Praying HARD:)
