    1) Where/How in the world do you squeeze the time to study? I feel like I have forgotten how to study…I know most here have busy lives, just wondering what you do to juggle it?

    2) I currently have Becker 2011 luckily, but I borrowed it from a friend, hence I can only probably get the CDs with lectures and HW that has the book electronically…..are there any materials I can pick up worth buying from Barnes & Noble etc…. that are cheap since my finances are pretty tight lately…any advice will be greatly appreciated!!

I’m a senior associate for Big 4 struggling with the CPA for yearsssss now…this is my 5th year now with the firm and I have a lotttt of pressure to get a CPA since I can’t get promoted to manager. Last I passed AUD was 03/2009, lost my mom so that year and the following year I stopped caring, lost my Audit and the desire to get a CPA….backfired and reality sunk that the failure isn’t going anywhere unless I do something about it, and next thing you know now I’m married and no CPA to show for..and the CPA will bring my life a better future so I’m fully motivated again. Since alot of time has passed by and I’m pretty much done with making excuses, I am studying for REGS currently and hope to get the wholleee process started with this January and take the exam mid February and go on from there….

I think you will find alot of people on here in the same situation, including myself, that tried, failed, quit, and now are coming back to it because we are not quitters!

As far as inexpensive review materials at the bookstore, you can get the Wiley series of books, and then purchase the Wiley Test bank and Jeff's “NINJAnotes from this site that are also inexpensive (but not available in a book store).

@cpa_equals_freedom, I see you're studying for REG? If you have the Becker 2011 books that's a great start. Use the Becker books, and I would highly recommend getting the Wiley online testbank. It's inexpensive, you can purchase it on this website. I used it to put me over the hump to pass.

    AUD 81 (X4) Previous scores 59, 72, 72
    REG 80 (X3) Previous scores 59, 60
    FAR 75 (X2) Previous score 67
    BEC 79 (X2) Previous score 58

Im not gonna lie, just getting responses here JUST motivated me tenfold!!! Sometimes you look around my office and a bunch of them passed..but I was never a good standardized test taker…SAT I did terrible, must be the radio buttons and confined rooms…..but i know for a fact I can do better, and yes I see alot of people of here are not quitters so its good to here people in the same boat…..

Thanks guys, I might try that NINJA notes and look into the test bank
