Need some last minute tips before taking my REG exam on Monday. I am using Gleim and just got through reviewing every section of the materials for the second time. Overall, on quizzes I averaged roughly 67% during my second round. I am taking the day off from work tomorrow to study and will be studying every waking hour over the weekend as well. My plan was to focus on SIM’s for at least one of the next three days and then MCQ the rest of the time to zone in on some of my weaker areas. My big concern right now is that after reviewing all of the material twice I am still only averaged a 67%. Should the red flags be thrown up or do I have a good chance of passing?

It looks like you're within the 5 day reschedule window – check on that. Outside of that, reschedule fees are $35. Inside, it will cost you the cost of an exam, so you may as well take it….

Thanks! I guess I am more curious if my current scores are in line with someone else who has passed with similar scores right before exam time?

I don't want to rain on your parade but you may want to reconsider rescheduling. I have yet to take REG but my first time with FAR I was averaging in the 60s and I got a 71. You really should try to aim for 80s to sit for the exam…

    FAR - (11/01/14) 71 (02/07/15) 79
    AUD - (04/30/15) 86
    BEC - (07/21/15) 73 (10/01/15) 75
    REG - (11/30/15) 55 (05/19/16) 74

I don't mind the honesty at all. Having never taken a CPA exam, it has been difficult for me to gauge how prepared I am. I have always known that it takes me a bit longer to absorb material than the average person, but considering the amount of hours I have put in, I am shocked that I don't feel more prepared. I started studying in the middle of June and have not taken off a single day. I average 2-3 hours on weekdays and roughly 8-10 hours Saturday and Sunday. Not sure how much more I can do.
