I am taking REG Friday morning. I am going to leave work at noon today and be off tomorrow to get my last bit of time in. What do you all suggest doing the last days of studying. I have WTB, NINJA MCQ, and CPAexcel that I have been going back over this past week and a half and just trying to switch it up because when I do so well on the MCQ I question if I am just memorizing….. Would you all suggest practicing SIMS or just working on MCQ???

Hi,

You should definitely concentrate on practicing as many MCQ's as possible along with redoing all of the SIMS. I took it twice and both times – the materials tested were very different. You should def know the tax portion but definitely be very comfortable with the business law part as well. I noticed you are only using NINJA this time…make sure you do all of the SIMS. I saw some on my first test similar to the NINJA ones but not on my second. Maybe you will get lucky. I would also focus on your weak areas according to your dashboard report. Good luck, hope you pass this time around. Go with your gut!

I looked over my notes and did a few MCQs. I didn't do a lot because I didn't want to discourage myself if I got something wrong, or confuse myself (especially with Business Law stuff)

Thanks! I am just doing MCQ right now. I am switching around between WTB, Ninja MCQ and CPAexcel. I used NINJA for the actual study but all three for review. I am hoping the SIMS don't kill me!!!

I think I am so nervous because I will lose a test if I fail this one. I try to keep telling myself I have passed three so this is not un-doable!!!

Good luck Laura. I will lose FAR if I don't pass REG in July…failed REG 4x. I used CPAExcel, WTB, and Ninja MCQ the first 4 times (a combination of the 3). I am now going to use Gleim TB and Roger Cram because I can't imagine not passing the CPA exam because of REG. I am not saying CPAExcel, WTB, and Ninja MCQs are not the answer, I am just desperate and need a change…
