hi everyone. i’m in my last few days leading up to REG (I sit on the 18th). I’m using Becker. I’ve gone through and done all the homework and sims at least twice and I’ve been taking progress tests. I took the first Becker final and scored a 74. I feel like I’m doing ok, but I’m running out of ways to test my knowledge. I feel like I’m just memorizing the Becker answers. Does anyone have any suggestions that I can do to keep the information fresh until I take the exam?

I made a 74 on the first Becker test too, but I BOMBED the SIMS. If you get tired of MCQ, do SIMS.

How many hours do you have in so far?

I've only got 110 hours in so far, which makes me nervous. I did 200 for FAR. I did ok on the sims on the first Becker final exam. The casualty one I misread so I bombed that one, and I didn't do well on the estate one. I'm much more confident with financial – it was my strong point in college and I didn't mind spending the time to study. I hate tax and am struggling to focus, but I still seem to be doing ok. I don't want to fail, but I'm not sure what more to do at this point.

I think 74 on a final is a GREAT sign. Focus on weak areas, review notes, and grind out some MCQ!

Ocarina's probably right. 74 isn't awful, but it's enough to keep us motivated to grind out another 20-30 hours of MCQ and review/re-write notes. Keep going no matter what, and happy studying!
