    I just took REG. I completed the whole exam in 2 hours..

    The MC for testlet #1 was pretty doable.

    MC2 & 3 where not anywhere near hard. They where the same length (2-3 lines) as the first testlet. I am guessing I did pretty bad on all 3.

    SIMS? I did all SIMS in 1 hour. I didn’t think they were hard, however, Becker BARELY touched on 3 of them. I know for sure I got the research question very fast. Another SIM was pretty easy. But the others? Total guesses 100%.

    I am guessing I failed. My MC didn’t even get harder…. AHH

    Ive heard from the other member in this forum that REG exam only test you about 5% of the stuff that you need to study in the review course. I guess you made it sound more precise now :(. Ive been focusing on studying for all the topics now but still. Im taking it real soon and we'll see how it goes. But I hope you will pass.

    I finished FAR with 1 hour to spare. Honestly, I stayed there until the last minutes and I was grateful that I did because 15 mins before it was over. I reread the questions and found out that i missed a lil detail that changed the answers a little bit. Next time, I still recommend you to stay because you never know. Human brains are pretty unpredictable. Maybe something will come up in the last minute?

    Anyway, good luck for all of us though!

    FAR 5/14 88 PASSED!
    REG 7/13 74 :((((((((....! I cant believe it!!!! I studied so hard...
    REG retake 11/29 -> 89!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    BEC 10/11/12 -> 84!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    AUD 10/25/12 -> 95!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I'm DONE! OMG 8 months of hard work.

    I SHALL PASS. BECAUSE IT'S ME, SO EVERYTHING WILL BE OK!

    How prevalent did you find the becker Ancillary Material to be on the test? unsure how much time I will need to spend on that stuff.

    Nothing in the 2012 version is ancillary. I think I had maybe one blaw if that even. A good number of simple calculations. Like I said all my questions were 1-3 lines. I've read where people have to scroll down the screen just to get to the answers, or have to do multiple calculations to get the answer. I had none of that.

    I really only got tested on a few topics.

    @keelydare1 – Just finished reading other peoples posts in the REG forum. Some people said they had many blaw, but I had none. It really just depends on your luck of the draw. Mine was heavily tax. If I could go back I would focus on R1-R4, and just watch lectures on the rest. But thats my exam.

    @cpa400… Ive never had anything in the ancillary material be tested until REG so you better check it out. Learned that lesson the hard way the other day šŸ™

    @mrfuturecpa… This is your first part, you have no idea how your score will come out so don't sweat it. I'm sure you passed, you've just got to keep going! I've never felt confident about passing and so far I'm 3 for 3. I also finished Reg in 2 hours the other day. I finished audit in like an hour and a half maybe? I've always been a fast taker and like you said you either know it or you don't. Plus if you stare at a question long enough youll start to second guess yourself. Relax for a few days, give your mind a break and then on to the next one!

    FAR - 82
    BEC - 77
    AUD - 79
    REG - 81

    Thank you everyone.

    In school I would do the same thing I would be done in maybe 30 minutes, while the majority of my classmates took the whole 2 hours for an exam. Its either I know it or not… staring at it any longer wouldn't do me any good.

    I did remember though that I had ONE business law & SEC Act question, nothing really from R5 – R8, which was crappy since I liked those chapters! It wasn't really heavy on ethics either.. I actually spent time reading the 40 or so pages in Becker since I heard that its heavily tested – not on my exam. Maybe a couple that becker did a good job on in their lecture/mcqs.

    Research is easy, one simulation is similar to stuff i've seen before.. not exactly the same but similar. 3 of the simulations were total guesses, and by guesses I mean just adding random numbers together and seeing if it sounded right to me, or what I remember. I did use the research tab, but wasn't really finding anything helpful particular to my situation…

    I guesstimate I will get a 40-50 if I am lucky.. really. Never felt like I did today in all my years of schooling.

    I'm the same way on testing time. Finished FAR with nearly 2 hours to spare and AUD with 1 hour 45 minutes. Finished REG with only about 45 minutes to spare and am currently not feeling nearly as confident about it.

    You made me start worrying about mine. Just took it yesterday and I used up all my time. 2 SIMs were totally messed, and I believed my MCQs were all average. And there were WAY MORE law questions than I expected!!!

    You know, now that I had a day or so to really relax and digest the exam I don't think it was necessarily hard.. I guess I was just very nervous and jittery since I've never had to take professional exams before I didn't know what to expect. But thats okay! If you know the stuff Becker talks about in their lectures and do well on the MCQ's youll be fine. For the SIM practice.. 2 of them were stuff becker made very clear, 3 of them were just out of the air. Becker didn't go to into detail about the information.

    Its okay though, on to BEC. I have 24 days to study for BEC.. I hope its doable. Persistence pays off.

    Good luck to you all!

    @futuremdcpa… I am totally with ya, it's funny what a few days can do for you. When I finished my test last Monday I was a total wreck, absolutley sure I failed. Now I'm not too worried about it and am hopeful I passed. I still hope that the next month goes by quickly though! Good luck with BEC, its got a little bit of everything!

    First off, I'd like to caution you about revealing too much about your test (including the breakdown of which topics were tested). You don't want to risk any trouble after putting in all that work.

    I've taken REG more times than I'd like to admit so I have a lot of experience to draw upon. My advice is to never focus on a subset of the topics. I have been using Becker to study and I have found that each time I took REG that the breakdown of topics cover has varied significantly. Some tests have had lots of Blaw while others have had little. There is one ancillary section that I believe I had questions from on every single attempt at REG i've had. I obviously can't say which one but make sure to at least read through those sections, don't be tempted to skip them entirely.

    I took REG again today and finally feel really good about it and finished in about 2 hours.

    AUD - 76 (lost credit), 71, 82!
    BEC - 84 (lost credit), 80
    FAR - 67, 76
    REG - 44, 64, 52, 72, 70, 54, 64, 67, 78!
