Took Reg yesterday. 1st testlet was easy, 2nd pretty hard, 3rd easier than 2nd but harder than the first. Going into the exam I felt that I was very prepared using Becker 2011. However, there where a few questions I do not ever remember seeing in any of the material. (I watched the lectures and read the entire book on my own). The Simulations where much harder than any of the Simulations I practiced with Becker. There was one that I didn’t even feel it gave me enough instruction to complete the problem. Hopefully, that is the one that is thrown out.

Overall, I think I did alright. Hopefully the fact that I thought my 3rd testlet was easier doesn’t mean I failed…..

That is very good to hear! It sounds like you passed. I'm taking the exam on Wednesday (the 18th) and I'm using Becker 2011 materials too. How did you prepare the few days before the exam? I've done the M/C over and over. Did you feel like you had more business law rather than taxation? Any tips??

The last few days of the exam I read the Becker notecards and Becker Final Review. I like these because it is just something new to look at and it summarizes the important details. I don't remember exactly but I feel like mine was a good mix of both business law and taxation. I did notice that some topics that I actually think are of somewhat importance where not even tested. With that said, every exam is different.

My tips would to be just review the topics you feel weakest at. This was the first exam I have sat for so I don't know that I have earned the right to be giving any tips yet! Good luck though!
