just got out of the test and it feels like I’ve been kicked in the balls…the worst feeling is realizing how you messed up a sim that you knew, but the wording just confused the hell out of you….is there any way to tell which simulation was pretest and doesn’t count? I’m trying to figure out if the one I got most destroyed on was pretest but I don’t know how you’d figure this out..

There is no telling which one is pretest. We are at the mercy of the AICPA.

i never knew what people meant when they said they felt like they didn't even take the right exam….i though BEC was a cakewalk and got all questions I was expecting….I got so many questions out of left field just now i'm shocked

I hear ya, I just finished REG this morning, and man, that was tooouggh!! I'd be lucky if I got in the 60's. 3 out of the 6 sims I got were horrible. One was totally foreign to me. The Research tab was really difficult too. IRC seemed a lot harder to navigate compared to the GAAP literature. REG is my last test too, but looks like I'll have to postpone my freedom another month or two 🙁

I'm not sure what to think right now….I got absolutely insane multiple choice in the 2nd tab then still pretty difficult in the 3rd…..but I really think I bombed the sims big time

Is it a guarantee that if you got 2 research sims that one of them is pretest? I'm praying that's not the case but I'm not sure if anyone knows the deal with this.

two research sims? i didnt even know that was possible. I would think that each and every SIM has the same chance of being a pretest. Because if it wasnt true, then you could take a 50/50 shot and skip one of the Research SIMS to spend time on the other non Research SIMS. So if you are counting on the Research tabs being non-pretest, then you have a 67% shot of that being the case…just my opinion

Having 2 research questions does not mean that one is the pretest question.

You may see 1 or 2 research questions on FAR, AUD, and REG.

its amazing how key it is which one of my sims is pretest will be in determining if I pass….2 months of studying comes down to pure luck…DAMNIT

I had two research questions on AUD when I took it in July. It took me a bit to find the answers but I did find the answers. One answer was kind of tricky though!

Took mine as well this afternoon. It was tough esp the sims. But it was a little better experience than what I had last quarter. I got a 74 last Q and I'm hoping to at least inch up one point. 75 is all I need..
