Hi everyone, as you can tell I just got a 74 on my REG exam. I studied using Becker 09 and know that the simulations killed me. I guess at this point the questions I have is will the 09 software still be ok to use, are there any kinds of books that have muti-choice problems that I would be able to work on and any other general advice on how to motivate myself to study after being so close to passing. Thanks

If you continue to use the 2009 materials I would strongly recommend visiting Becker's website for the updates to those materials.

You can download new questions from Gleim's website for about $50. I don't think much has changed. I took FAR in Q409 and failed, and took it again using the same materials but new questions in Q210 and just passed. You can do it! Just keep practicing.

If you think about it a 74 really is a fluke because it was probably one question that could have made or broke getting a score of 75.

The best advice that I can give is wait until you receive your letter showing where you were weak and buckle down on that area as well as thoroughly going over everything else in REG. You will hate doing it and probably will gag at the thought of having to cover it again (I know that is how I felt when I had to recover BEC a second time after getting a 73), but you will be okay. Just refocus and pound through it again, and you will be triumphant the next time.

Definitely get the updates for Regulation. And, 74 is rough. . .I've had two of them. Keep on trucking.
