Like if I use this sorta old video today, is this most of the stuff that I need to know for AMT? Also, Jeff says don’t memorize the amt exception, which is 40k, because he didn’t. But there are a few exm questions on ninja mcq where they ask you what the exemption is straight up or ask you what the exemption rule is with phaseout with AGI over 100k, so I’m assuming we should know it. Does anyone know why Jeff has the adjustments as only additions here, but in the ninja book adjustments are +/-? What would you subtract?

I think it's because on the actual exam if they do test you on AMT it will not be that complex. So he tells you to just remember to add. I remember using this video to study AMT and it helped me. Also there is a yaeger one that probably is on the side bar and that one is pretty good too.

Following, I did not like how Becker taught AMT…. It was the only section in Tax I could not figure out. Any reccomendations on how to get this stuff down? Will watch Jeff's video tonight.
