I took the exam today. I have been studying since December using Becker. I went through the homework MCQs 5-6X, re-read the book, took notes on all problem areas, reviewed flashcards and took the 2 Final Exams and still, I left the exam completely dumbfounded. I did well on 1st testlet since the 2nd testlet was super hard but didn’t do well on that one since the 3rd testlet got easier again (I knew most of the answers in that testlet though). I didn’t keep track of time well since once I got to the simulations I had less than 1 hour. I only filled out one tab and the communication in the 1st sim and only the communication in the 2nd sim. I am praying that I passed but not so sure….anyone have a similar experience and passed?

I did similar kind of studying and felt really down during the exam and after .I did FAR 2/11/10 and AUD 1/7/10 ,waiting for the results .Lets see how my results are.If not, I am thinking of using more study materials from different sources,atleast more MCQs and simulations.

well I know you can pretty much bomb the sims and still pass. I know i got under 40-50% correct on the sims its more like 30% correct probably, missed both of the research questions…didnt even do them and I somehow got a “stronger” than most other passing candidates scoring 75-80. so i think there is a lot of slack given on the sims. idk based on what you told me id say you are guna be between 70-76 i think, and your score will depend a lot on whether or not you did great on the communication part.

It's possible you passed. I didn't notice the testlets getting more difficult and I know I did bad on my simulations due to lack of time, but I passed. One of my topics was more financial than regulatory and I left it almost blank because I wasn't prepared. I think having strong written communications is very helpful. There's definitely hope.

Thank you! All the responses give me hope. Hopefully this is my last exam (if I passed that is). When I took FAR in July I barely filled out any of the sims except for written communication and because I did well on MCQs and written comm I passed. Also, does anyone have any idea when the scores will be released for wave 2?
