Is REG chapter 8 even worth studying?

I tried looking into this. All answers I could find were from 2013. The answer seemed to be a hard “no”. In 2016 is it even worth going through? If so what parts?

BLaw is somewhere between 17-20% of the exam and chapter 8 covers 6 or 7 different topics that could be tested. In my opinion, everything in your materials is worth studying because anything is fair game to be tested. you have put in a lot of work to pass the exam and wouldn't want to be kicking yourself after if there were questions you couldn't answer because you skipped over the material.

Yes you should. As the above poster mentioned, you've spent a great deal of time preparing for the exam. Don't take any short cut.

The answer to this question is probably the answer to whether you pass or fail….I have failed several times and each time I believe it was because I short cut on a topic…and each time (I think the test Gods know) the information shorted or skipped was heavily tested, not one or two questions but more like two or three questions per testlet and a sim…..so my advice, no skipping. Cover everything.

Agree with above posters. Everything is worth studying. The official guides of material weights indicate approximate percentages for each topic; however, it's a range. Studying something that's 2% on average could make the difference between a passing and failing grade.

Is Chapter 8 the most heavily tested chapter in all of the book? Maybe not, but it's still important, same as all the others.

At the VERY least, know Suretyship, Agency arrangements and Business Structures.
