    IRC 7701 contains definitions

    Each definition is denoted as a number (36) Tax Return Preparer

    Each subsection is denoted as a letter (A) In General

    The study software asked for discussion for an income tax preparer: but the input only allows for SS and a single letter – leading to my question:

    Should I ignore the (36) if I get a subsection like this on the exam?
