Inputting negative balances into Sim questions

    This ALWAYS messes me up when I am studying (currently using CPAExcel). I never know when to put a “-” in front of a deduction or expense. Is there a standard procedure — because CPAExcel is not consistent.

    I would practice @ cpa-exam.org on their sim software to be sure.

    I took FAR a few weeks ago and the simulations were pretty clear of when to use a negative number. The question literally said use a negative number when _____
