So for some reason I really struggle with REG’s research question when I practice with Becker’s simulations, I didn’t have as much trouble with Audit’s research questions.

I just took Becker’s Final review 1, and spent like 30 minutes on the research question and can’t find the right answer or key word….

so I’m just wondering how important is it to get the research question right on exam? Anyone knows how much they actually worth on the exam? is it 1/7?

Also, does anyone has any tip on find the answer for REG’s research question?

If you use the advanced search feature (keywords “near each other”, etc.) I don't think you should have an issue finding the answer to the research question – it's same concept / style as Audit, so you should be fine!

Also if it makes you feel any better – I somehow flubbed the research question this last testing period and still managed to pass the exam with a 84.

(While I can't give away any details – my brain was fried and I wasn't able to think of the OBVIOUS keyword that I should have been searching)

If it makes you feel any better, I also struggled with the Becker research questions and I wasn't always able to find the right keywords, even with the advanced search function. I had no problem at all with the ones* on the actual exam.

*I can't go into detail, bug one of my regular sims had a research aspect in addition to the research question

@accountingisfun Did you do well in the other simulations on the exam or were they hard as well? If you did just okay on other sims and missed the research question, but still passed with 84, then maybe it didn't worth too many points.
