Yeah, multiple choice and NINJA notes are a good way to review. Remember that the business law isnt a huge part of the exam. Multiple choice is 60% and sims are 40%. Its tough for the AICPA to throw business law sims on there so most of that is probably going to be tax stuff. So you are probably looking at something close to 70-75% tax and like 25-30% business law. Just keep plugging along and give it your best on Monday. The better attitude you have, the better you will do on the exam.

One last thing to think about that helped me through the exams. When I got to a few tough questions on the exams this is what I thought to myself, “This question is crazy hard. I bet it's a pre-test question. If its not, I bet most of the other people taking the exam are going to miss it as well. Eliminate the clearly wrong answer or two and make your best guess from there.” I seriously went through that thought process on the exam. And you know what? Its probably true. There are a number of pre-test questions and the topics are going to seem like they came out of nowhere. Dont let that phase you, just keep plugging through. You dont need to absolutely kill the exam. You just need to grind out enough points to do better than 55% of the other people taking the exam. You can do it!

@goodluck- I failed because I put in the hours, but they weren't the quality hours I thought they were. And I also didn't use the Gleim software like I did with the other 3 sections because the darn Yaeger program said not to. Errrr.

Anyways…..you really have to know everything. I'm not going to get into any specifics on what was on my test, but let me tell you this…. what other people said was not going to be tested WAS indeed on my test. All my questions were on nitpicky little things. I barely got any questions on the big stuff. It almost felt as if the AICPA was watching me study so they could make sure that they won't ask those topics on my test. Ridiculous! I could be lucky next time. Who knows? All I know is that I'm not leaving any stone unturned this time.

I think I have an idea of what you mean. They probably gave you a scenario in which property was sold and you have to know what part of it is income and what is a section 1231 gain. Those kinds of questions are ridiculous because they arent hard but not something we study all that much.
