I’m having trouble grasping some of the computational problems. I’m worried about remembering all the rules and exceptions etc. How do I fix this problem? Any recent candidates with some tips that could help? When it becomes too much I go the theory chapters. Using Becker, thanks in advance!

Go through all the chapters, MCQ and then go thought all the MCQ's again and then go through the TAX MCQ section before the exam again. I think the tax is tested more than the law. I followed this after I read a post in here and passed it with a 75 on the first try with Becker 2011.

    Take lot of notes

Let me talk about the law part 1st. That's all memorization and practice the MCQs. This is the easier part.

The math/tax part, i go thru the chapters, memorizatoin, and do a lot of MCQs on Becker to the point i memorized the MCQs' answer (and still wasn't enough for the test). Now I am reading Wiley and working on Wiley MCQs.

The math/tax MCQ part is easier on the exam. It is the SIMS that most people are having difficulties with since they really throw a lot of things at you to calculate. So when you are comfortable with Becker, go practice some Wiley questions.
