Throughout the past 4 weeks, I went through the CPAexcel lectures and MCQ and went over the Ninja Notes and Ninja Audio 3x and wrote the Ninja Notes 1x. I just went through a set of 72 MCQ session on Wiley Test Bank and I got a 46%. And also this will be my third attempt at REG after already failing 2x. My confidence and optimism is falling apart. I have approximately 3 weeks left to prepare and I honestly do not feel I am making any progress. Any thoughts, suggestions?

I am studying for Reg too. The amount of info to remember is enormous. I would suggest take the exam on 30th of May, the last day of the window and use the one month to prepare more thoroughly on Taxes. Anyway you cannot retake the exam in May if you don't make it in April attempt and you will be studying tax again in May anyway. Why not use the additional one month of May ,and be a tax expert.

I am using Yager Audio and Video withe wiley TB. FAR and AUD are done.

Oh one more thing, PRAY every day.

    FAR - 81 29th Aug 2013
    AUD - 84
    REG - 82
    BEC - 89 29th Aug 2014

You are definitely not alone. I've gone through the entire cpaexcel section for Reg and I just don't get it. I feel like I never even went through it. I think the previous posters are right. We need to focus on the quality of studying. I'm gunna go back through the material with a heavy emphasis on tax (ie memorize the rules, exceptions to the rules, and the stupid exceptions to the exceptions, grrrrrr). Hopefully the law material just makes sense over time.

    Done: 5/22/14

Progress report: Agency and Regulation of Employment are both 75%. All 15 other categories range from 0%-60%. Man I got my work cut out for me.

Wow, got 61% on the second try for Wiley Test Bank. My progress report percentages are still pretty bad though.

All right, I got down Partnership Taxation. Next up is Secured Transactions and Commercial Paper. These are currently my weakest areas. Planning on doing more practice sessions afterwards to see what other categories I need to focus more on, as the first session was probably a fluke and is really skewing my Progress Report percentages.

@Determined – Do I need to take the lid off of the box and let the Ragin' Cajun out of there? She's had a hard week full of storms, a massive tree on a house, one seriously distraught and depressed mother in law, crazy clients, no sleep and there really isn't any way for me to know what she would say at this point. Just remember that you can do this! Don't worry what your % of correct answers is in Wiley. As long as you know the concept when you finish the problem, the % doesn't really matter. I will say that aiming for 90% or better on the Wiley Test Bank is a really good way to memorize the question and answer and still not know the concept. Make sure you know why the wrong answers are wrong.
