I got my score today for my regulation taken on Nov 10

    I got 74

I feel so spooky because I was sitting on the SAME seat that I sit last time when I failed for my auditing!!!!!!

and also I extended five time for this exam with almost 200 dollars altoghter for the fees

It is not money issue but when I felt confident enought to go to the test center finally, I was sitting on the SAME seat !!!!!!! Is that spooky?!!!!

Do not know what to say but anyone can give me some understanding?

    I HATE 74!!!!!!!!

    actully I received my bill

I spent almost 300 dollars for hte fee for extension of my exam

Still it is not the money but the feeling of frustration!!!

    The time I spent

The energy and life under such a big pressure and stress

I am sorry to be so negative but I guess I cannot hold any longer

    Buy the way

I passed FAR and BEC and failed with auditing and Reg

This is not the first time about 74 story

I failed for my first time try of BEC with 74

When I failed with my auditing last summer I cried a lot

I am so surprised that I am not able to cry the tears out

    I'm sorry you got a 74 (again).

I pretty much use the same chair in front of my laptop, so unless I'm at work or somewhere else, I'm pretty much sitting in the same seat when I check my scores.

Why's it spooky to be sitting in the same seat?

I sit on the same seat in the test center

And the seat I sit the the one where I sit when I took the Auditing

That is a seat of failure I guess

Thank you for your patience to reply to my post

WhereIsGod, don't fret about the location of the seat, It had nothing to do with you failing. Trust me, 2 does not make a pattern. Just focus on how close you got and hit the books again and you'll get it next time.

    FAR 88 (07/15/11)
    BEC 83 (08/31/11)
    AUD 81 (10/15/11)
    REG 83 (11/26/11)

    @WhereIsGod,

OMG, you are so me. I sat in the same seat for my FAR and BEC, passed both of them. But not AUD and I failed by 1 point. I told my dad that it got to be the seat and the computer that I was using. My dad just laughed at me and said ” you are too superstitious. ” haha!! but I found it very interesting that you had the same feeling as I did. Good Luck!!

    Oh…sorry, I didn't understand.

I wouldn't worry about the seat location in and of itself being the source of the 74 score, but if it bothers you that much, maybe choose a different seat next time.

@WhereIsGod: I am sure a 74 is very disappointing, knowing you were so close, but would you feel better if you had gotten a 70… or perhaps a 65? I know it feels like you were close, and you are, but even if I were to take two of the same section back to back there could easily be a spread of several points (just a note to the variability of this exam). Rather than be focused on how close you were and how much it sucks to have to do all the work again, try and pay attention to the fact that your second time through will be so much easier. Take comfort in the fact that you were close and that by brushing up on a few things and practicing more overall, you should be able to get through this exam just fine!

    BEC 86 (08/30/11)
    FAR 84 (10/13/11)
    REG 88 (11/08/11)
    AUD 86 (11/29/11)

I know. At least with a 74, you know you are closer to a pass – hence less review than a 63. My scores are all weak except for individual taxation and ethics. All other areas, I have to start over. It's a very difficult exam and few pass all sections the first time. Seems like some ppl are stronger/weaker in certain areas. Just have to work harder.
