50 days is the amount of time I see other users here spend from start – to – finish for their REG prep/review so if you strengthen your weak areas and keep reviewing your strengths you should be set. I don't mean to downplay the exam, because I'm in the same boat as you. I'm trying to finish my first go-through of material by Sunday (newborn baby is due this coming Monday) and will have 6 weeks or so to review – actually longer than it took me to finish the material itself on the first run.
Normally I would have taken the test much sooner but with tax season, and we have a 2 year old so I am assuming my whole review/study schedule will be completely out of wack for the first few weeks with the new baby so I wanted to give myself time to adjust and find time whenever I can to study (definitely going to have slack some at work – but that's the beauty of post-April). At first I didn't think I'd be able to handle the test with everything going on but the thought of spending the Summer studying literally boils my blood at this point. At times I feel overwhelmed with the material, but remember, many have taken and passed, it's far from impossible. I know it's cliche and everyone is different, but you passed FAR, you got this.
For your weak areas, maybe try googling/youtubing to find instruction which is better suited for you in those particular sections.
Which review material are you using? I'm using Roger primarily, with NINJA/Gleim MCQs. Everyone is stressing the importance of tax which is good and all but there's a ton of blaw, I think over half of Roger's materials is blaw (although he does constantly say it's 20 % of the exam), which is frustrating but I am assuming if you know it on a basic level (i.e. not every exception in the book) it should make for doable points.
Best of luck and slay the final monster!
