    ok here is the story,

I have yaeger for REG and it is Phil Yaeger who teaches it, but honestly he only reads from the book and don’t explain what he is reading !!!!! he should not teach cpa at all

now I finish the tax section with him, and god!! I almost understand nothing,

I am thinking of changing the study review to Roger, any suggestion??

I think since you know the current review program is not working for you that you should look into another program. I have been using the Roger cram for REG and I like his energy and he keeps me focused, I think he has good products. But you should go to his website and listen to some of the samples before buying just in case.

This worries me. I'm interested in knowing if you used Yaeger for any other sections? I'm studying for FAR right now and am using Yaeger and so far I feel like it is doing a great job of preparing me. Because of this I was going to continue with Yaeger for the remaining sections (pending on how well I do on FAR of course).

    FAR - 70, 81
    AUD - 83
    BEC - 77
    REG - 70, 78

    Licensed in Ohio.

Now what the hell do I do?

@life-avenue – I took Yaeger for FAR (I passed with it, btw). I didn't feel that it was the right course for me. I switched to Roger for AUD, REG, and BEC. That being said, you can't accuse Phil of only reading from the book. I remember him explaining the concepts and working questions out on the white board. If you didn't learn anything from watching the entire tax section, it wasn't Phil's fault. Take more notes, stay engaged, and work plenty of problems. You'll learn a lot. Tough it out w/ Yaeger for REG and switch it up in the next section. You have already spent the money. Might as well use it to its fullest potential. You can pass with it.

    FAR - 78 (10/3/11)
    AUD - 83 (11/28/11)
    REG - 70 (4/7/12), 84 (7/31/12)
    BEC - 75! (5/31/12)
    Ethics - 98

    DONE

thank you everyone for your comments,

@MCHammer, I just passed FAR using Yaeger, but I believe I passed because Cindy was a great teacher, as well as Gary. but now I am having hard time with REG.

@posty, I used Yaeger for FAR and I really liked it, except Phil's sections which he taught. he was not doing well with FAR, and I thought he is good in tax and law, but I was wrong.

REG is hard … Maybe it's the material that is frustrating you … Work more MCQs

Pound them until you understand it.

I was very happy with Yaeger when studying for FAR and AUD. But I didn't care for the BEC and REG lectures, but it beats sitting in a live classroom, so I put up with it.

    Hi,
I am using Yaeger too, I bought the whole homestudy program. I agree with all of the posts, I LOVE Cindy, passed BEC first try. FAR was ok, glad Cindy was there, like Gary and his quirks, but dreaded the sections with Phil too. (Do we really care why he needed a cortisone shot in his wrist). Passed FAR first time also, so cant complain. I am taking AUD on Sat, and Gary teaches the whole thing, I really like him now, he is so focused and when I am trying to find time to dedicate to this I do not need to hear about health issues or divorce rates.

I am sitting for REG on 8/31 and am DREADING listening to Phil for the entire section. He strains his voice in a way that just gives me a headache. I am thinking I will also switch to another material for REG…any suggestions?

    BEC - passed 4/12
    FAR - passed 5/12
    AUD - passed 7/12
    REG - passed 8/12
