How would you budget the next 3 weeks?

About three weeks until my retake. I studied for 7 weeks in Oct/Nov and took exam 12/5. Studied about 45 hours for 3 weeks in Dec/Jan before putting it down for a month (busy season). Picked it back up 2 weeks ago and went thru entire Roger textbook MCQs (500+ scored 96%), Roger non-tax lectures, and 4 days of Tax Simulations. Now I have about 3 weeks until my retake.

How would you spend your time over the next 3 weeks? MCQs until your eyes bleed? Note rewriting? Simulation Practice?

I’m a 14 year tax professional so this is really quite ridiculous that I passed the other 3 parts in 4 attempts, but REG is giving me grief. (71 = MCQ stronger, TBS weaker).

Believe it or not, am almost as busy after exams even with 23 hours a week of free time. My boss was babying me while I was studying and it took me 2 months to pass the Ethics exam. I am back to running and attending sporting events, but I dont think I have nothing to do.

To answer your question, do MCQ's till you bleed and leave the last 2 days for SIMS. I would continuously look at my notes during lunch breaks or if I was traveling and what not. Leave urself 1.5 hours for the SIMS part of the exam and use all of it. I caught many mistakes when reviewing them one more time before submitting.

    Best wishes.
