Does anyone have any tips on this stuff? I’ve just started and already this seems like a freaking nightmare. How can I remember all of this stuff on taxes? It’s just too many little nuances to remember!

I took REG (my first exam) in late November. I ended up getting a 73. My biggest problem was the point you are making: How do we remember everything??? While going through Becker (I have taken 3 tax courses and gotten A, A-, A-) I was able to understand just about everything in the review course. But on the exam, everything just got mixed up in my head and I couldn't remember everything. I'm re-taking it in January and I'm going to focus more on memorizing everything I can instead of just understanding it all.
