Going into the exam I aimed to spend about 30 minutes on each multiple choice booklet, with no more then 1 hour 45 minutes in total on the multiple choice. I wanted to have at a minimum 1 hour 15 minutes on the simulation questions. I ended up spending about 1 hour 40 minutes on the multiple choice. I ended up finishing everything with about 20 minutes which allowed me to review a couple of the sims I wasn't 100% sure about. With the sims being worth up to 40% you can't leave yourself no time which will make you rush the sims and possibly misread something or the like.

I believe you should leave around 1 hour and 20 minutes for the Sims. REG sims can be devastating, from topics you never heard of, which will make you utilize the research function to answer them.

Congratulation on passing REG. Good luck with remaining exams.

-Herbert7890, thank you for responding. I think I have to leave at least 70 minutes or more for Sims.

Use 30 minutes for Testlet 1, 33 minutes for Testlet 2, and 37 minutes for Testlet 3. This is to adjust for more difficult later testlets.

@mcarras That's a bit silly. You can't plan on how long a given testlet will take you. The way I did it was giving myself 1 min 30 sec per question on average, so basically around 35 minutes a testlet. Just make sure you have about an hour and 30 minutes left for Sims and you should be fine. A lot of the times, each question can take a minute, but the quantitative ones could take closer to 2 minutes, so obviously 1 minute 30 sec per question is a tad more than you'll need.
