For someone who is working full-time, how much time do you need to study REG?

I've been studying full time and it took me about 3 weeks to go through all of REG's lectures and homework. I took a few days off in between but not many. And I would allow at least a week and a half for review. The material ins't too hard except for maybe 2 modules. Not sure what that translates into with working full time but hope that helps a little!

3 weeks sounds like extremely little time for REG… IMHO

    Did you pass?

    AUD - 90
    FAR - 83
    BEC - 81
    REG - 80
    ETHICS - 100

I had Roger CPA Review and I took a very detailed Individual Federal and State Taxation class back in 2009 (so that topic was easy for me) and it took me about 130 hrs to prepare. I still found some SIMS very challenging but somehow I was able to pass with a good score…..

    FAR: 81 (May 2013)
    BEC: 81 (July 2013)
    REG: 83 (August 2013)
    AUD: 82 (November 2013)
    California CPA since 1/30/14

I currently work 40 hours per week. But our year-end is around mid-May, and I plan to take REG on April 24, 2014, which means I will probably work overtime during that period leading up to the exam date.

I'm doing REG in 2.5 weeks, but I only work ~25-30 hours a week. I was able to do BEC and AUD in the same month, but I think REG takes a little more time since there is a lot more memorization rather than conceptualization.

    FAR- 82 (December 2013)
    BEC- 88 (January 2014)
    AUD-94 (January 2014)
    REG- 84 (February 2014)

I'm taking REG in 2 weeks and I haven't started studying yet.

I figure I have nothing to lose but the cost of the exam. I looked over the released questions and got most of them correct. I'll start the WTB this weekend. I've been preparing tax returns for 6 years so this stuff is easy compared to FAR for me.

    FAR: 65,49,61,74,78
    AUD: 65,68,64,78
    REG: 56,77
    BEC: 75
