Have you ever been forced to stop studying for a period of time?

So I studied REG for 7 weeks, thought I passed, two weeks later found out that I didn’t pass, then studied for 3 more weeks. So essentially I studies for 10 out of 12 weeks. Considered scheduling my retake but decided to put it off until March 9th.

Plan was to lightly study over busy season (typically 3 weeks), then hit it again hard for another 6 weeks prior to my 3/9 retake. But due to 80 hour work weeks the past 3 weeks, I haven’t touched the material. So now I’m looking at not studying one bit for about a month, then having about a month to review before my retake… so all in all I’ll have about 14 weeks of studying time under my belt.

Anyone else ever have grand plans of studying, but then life forces you to totally put it down? This happened to me last year too but the 80 hour weeks lasted for almost two months. I was forced to entirely take a testing window off. Needless to say it’s put me in an 18 month bind now.

    FAR - 75 November 2015
    REG - 69 April 2016 (WTH? Test I got isn't what I studied for)
    BEC - 81 June 2016
    AUD - TBD
