On REG when is the gift tax exclusion still going to be 14K? I’ve seen things from the IRS saying the new exclusion amount is 15K?. Is the new 15K amount going to be testing on the CPA exam or still 14K for now?

I use Gleim for all of my studying, they recently released a PDF explaining any changes that are eligible to be tested 2018 Q3.
In the PDF includes the Gift tax exclusion change from 14,000 to 15,000 beginning Q3. But the way it's worded just says that it is eligible to be tested, which still seems vague to me.

I take REG in 6 days! So my strategy will be to complete the problem using 15,000 and 14,000, if I get to one of the possible answers then fine!

@Ian I take REG in 11 days. Last one to be done. If I don't pass I lose a part. This is the type of stuff we should have a definite answer for because it's easy points. Thanks though man.

Sorry guys, I unfortunately am not allowed to release any Gleim service material according to their rules. (You can blame this career path for bashing ethics into my brain lol). But honestly I'm just as far in the woods on this topic as you are.

    Also goodluck Q! Kill it!
