I am having a minor freak out. My REG exam is tomorrow, and while i know the world will not end if i do not pass I have a lot riding on this exam. I was starting to feel like I memorized the Wiley test bank questions so i went over to Gleim and cpareviewforfree and well lets just say it was bad, really bad. This did not help my freak out at all. I know i can do this and I am trying to stay positive and review the questions and stay calm but I am doing a poor job. I think I am going to read NINJA for a bit and remind myself to stay calm and think positive.

Good luck to you tomorrow, you can do it! You were very close last time, now go in tomorrow and do your best! Don't worry or stress much, the less of that, the more confident and more clear you'll be able to think.

First I want to thank everyone on this board and this thread for there support today was really hard but was easier because I know you were all in my corner.

However today was pretty bad.

First i got to prometric and there was ONE person working 5 of us trying to check in and people coming out for breaks, and finishing exams the whole time. It took almost 35 min to sign me in, I was a little annoyed but took a deep breath and moved on. I got to my computer and it won't start, so they had to shut it down and restart it, it finally loaded my exam, and I am in the middle of my first question and these windows start popping up saying loading with the blue bars and percentages compete. I raise my hand and she basically says your test will save as it goes, let me know if you have more issues… UM WHAT!

As for the exam, 1st testlet was good, i flagged 2, and felt really good, 2nd testlet OMG WHAT are you asking me! I knew about half, 6 i could get down to 2 choices, and 6 well i hope i am a good guesser and the CPA g-ds felt bad after the start to this day. 3rd testlet, better then the 2nd testlet but harder then the 1st testlet. The SIMs as always were hard, 1 of them i swear i guessed on half of it, there were probably 5 scenarios with 4 boxes to fill in so 20 answers, i knew maybe 3 of them. I hope that was pretest! The other 5 SIMs were ok, not horrible but not easy either. They were tricky but i think i probably got good points out of the both.

I sure hope i squeeze this one out, if not Q4 here i come! I am taking the next few weeks off no matter what. I am going on a few small weekend trips and a big trip to Europe. So i am going to try not to think about this result that much (yeah right!) I felt way better then last time going into today,but feel about the same coming out.

@LSNYC as a veteran with three passing scores under your belt, I'm sure I don't need to tell you this, but having a very hard second testlet, followed by a third testlet that was still harder than the first is a very good problem to have! I'm also a strong proponent of the belief that if one sim stands out above the others as extremely difficult, then it was probably a pretest. I know this probably isn't always the case, but I wouldn't be surprised if 7 times out of 10, it is the case.

I know the wait is hard, but please make sure you enjoy your time off! Not everyone gets to go to Europe, so make sure you enjoy it! Worrying about it will not help! 🙂

I am fairly certain you know the circumstances I took REG under in April. During that exam I guess on a “sh*t ton” of questions. I was so nervous I peeled off all my nail polish. The sims were eh. Some super hard some where I completely guessed. I still passed…and had absolutely no idea how I did leaving. Don't count yourself out…I bet you passed. 🙂

@LSNYC – I had a very similar sim on my AUD exam. It had 8 scenarios with 3 questions each. It was so confusing that I would have had just as good of a chance if it would have been in another language and I simply picked random answers. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it was pretest because it was by far the hardest sim I've experienced on any exam.

Congrats on getting it done 🙂 I'm so excited for us to be able to put this whole experience in the past, even though we made good friends along the way, I'm so over the CPA Exam!
