How did you prep for the simulations, and was it helpful?

ABSOLUTELY! I used Gleim, and the simulations mirrored the actual exam. Doing the sims helped reinforced my studies for REG especially the Tax and Property transactions. I spent the last 3 days before the exam and just drilled all the Tax sims only. I didn't care for the BLaw because I knew there weren't going be any on it. Helped me get an 87.

I failed B/C of the simulations… I guess the only way to prep is to actually practice the simulations.

40% is a significant part, such silly questions I got wrong. Basically asked me to prepare a 1120 return & personal return, which if it were multiple choice i would've aced…

the sims are extremely hard to everyone, and everyone bombs them. my advice is to get ninja m/c for REG and just pound the questions – don't even study the sims.

Thanks for the responses. I heard some say Gleim, CPAExcel, and NinjaMCQ Simulations. I am currently using Roger CPA interactive questions MCQ's. I just don't know which one is the best for it. That 40% is a beast to get.

Is it is a waste to practice business law simulations? The first time I took the exam I had only had tax simulations. Is it usually this way?

If you know the business law mcq you can do the sims if there are any. Not so with tax.

I am also using Roger as my main review courses. However, I found that the TB they provided may not be enough to pass the exam. So I purchased Ninja MCQ as supplementary material.
