    I just checked my REG score and got a 70.. 2 points higher than when I took it last time. I thought I did pretty well this time around but I guess it’s not enough. I scored comparable in 3 sections and stronger in 3 sections for the MC and stronger overall for MC. But weaker for simulations. I’m not sure if I have the motivation to take it again.

    Don't get motivated! GET MAD!!! Anger is a wonderful tool in your CPA exam arsenal. It helps you focus and it makes you nicer to the ones you love, because you take your aggression out on MCQ's. And a lot of rap music! Rap really helps. There are studies that show that rap does help you retain information because of the repetitive beat. Good Luck!

    @ Kricket…4 deductions that are not phased out . You get sick (medical), then you die (casualty), your kids get a big check, one of them gambles (gambling) and the other invests (investment interest expense)….love me some Ninja audio 😉

    @Casagarber – That's it! It was going to drive me crazy until I found it. I've been sitting here listening to Jeff trying to find it!

    Kricket..It's actually 8 inches on my back – rib cage. It looks like a happy face because of the drainage tube scars..like this 🙂

    I like to scare the little kids at the beach with it.

    …something about and old car on blocks… I am going to have to listen again.

    I scare old ladies in the grocery store! They look at me and ask “What did you do to your neck, sweetheart?” I just smile and say “Bless your heart.”

    @Baxter – please don't delete anything – It's all good 🙂

    I read lots of your posts myself, and even though I didn't fail any parts (YET), there are many things and feelings to which I can relate. Just like you, I recently lost my Father. In fact, he passed away the day I had my FAR scheduled.

    And if I had a choice, I would gladly accept unlimited amount of failures during my journey to CPA instead of going through what I went though… if you fail, just just try again and you will pass eventually….. but no matter what I do my dad will never come back….

    Im still trying to come in terms with the reality….. most nights I dont sleep more that 4-5 hrs a night….. so I have LOTS of time to READ 🙂

    AUD - 90
    FAR - 83
    BEC - 81
    REG - 80
    ETHICS - 100

    Topsya: I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your father. I agree with you that no amount of success dims the fact that they are no longer with us. It is hard but we have to soldier on. When is REG?
