fail REG or postpone it?

I’m taking REG on October 31st and I feel like I don’t know anything yet. I barely have any time to study because I’m getting home after 8pm and tired as heck as it is. I can’t really get up too early because I already get up at 7am. In other words, I’m 90% sure I’m going to fail it regardless of how I study for the next month. I have AUD scheduled Nov 28th as well. Should I bite the bullet and try to pass REG and try to learn AUD in 27 days or so or is this an impossible feat? Should I postpone REG and learn AUD instead? Is AUD even doable in 20 or so days? I cannot study full time as I have a job that sucks out 60 hours of my life a week.

Are you an auditor? I would postpone both of them if you can't get any free time to study. =/ Reg is a lot of facts to remember and I personally wouldn't feel comfortable with only 20 days for Audit if you cant study full time for it. Why don't you try taking Audit at the end of November? Crank out 8-10 hours on sat and sunday for it..

pass them both if you are planning on it. i think you can do it. please try to study a bit from notes, flashcards and some MC on the weekdays, and MC's and SIMS on the weekends. i personally think that you can do it, because that's the schedule that i lead and passed successfully. grab the moment. i think you can do it, but i do know that when you get home, it's like “i have to study? that's my reward?” LOL! you'll be okay. when you finish, you will be pounding your chest saying “who's the man, WHO's the man?”. LOL, not that I did that though….

I'm not an auditor but I did royalty audit (lmao sort of) for 3 months. I just recently moved to the tax department. I AM taking audit at the end of november at the latest date possible

seriously right? I just went through a full day of tax and commuting and this is my reward? But I can't go on with low paying jobs anymore >:(

@goodluck: sorry about the lowpaying job, unfortunately, even the CPA is not a magic golden ticket. it's how you use it for your own personal goals. you put the value on it. don't let anyone else tarnish it. i think you can pass REG this month and AUD next month. BUT, if you feel only one is good for you, that's no problem. then do just one. but please do put in good study habits regardless. don't give yourself the alibi or exception to not pass. i think you can do it, either way. as for moving on forward to higher pay, go for it! demand it! don't let anyone put you down, or any back office, envious troll put you down. i have had enough of those in life, and completely blow them off, and don't look back. if they are insecure, that's their problem. create your own worth, goals and ambitions, and all else will follow.

I studied 21 days for AUD and passed. Memorize the standard reports and do as many MCQ as possible.
