So I know there have been a few threads with this subject but I think my case may be a bit different.

I recently took REG and didnt pass,my material (Becker and WIley both expired Nov 30th). I do not plan on repurchasing the Becker license for $630 (give or take) but am definitely planning on purchasing the Wiley Online test bank for MCQ and Simulation practice (hoping that’s enough).

I plan on re-reading the Becker text book and re-writing my notes. Although I did that the first time I did not feel adequately prepared for the exam and my score shows it. I was thinking about either purchasing Jeffs NINJA notes or one of the CRAM study materials. Problem is, I’m starting at a new job at a public accounting firm in the middle of January right in the middle of busy season. I would like to take the exam before I get too deep into the busy season because I’ve heard how hectic it can get. I lose my BEC credit 4/29 so I have two more chances for REG.

Any suggestions on what materials to use to supplement the Becker textbook and wiley test bank? (NINJA or CRAM?)

I’ll probably have 4-5 weeks of study time with 2 of those weeks being off of work. Any input appreciated!

I can't speak from personal experience, but I've heard a lot of good things about Roger CRAM from other A71 posters. I think it runs around $200.

    FAR 88 (07/15/11)
    BEC 83 (08/31/11)
    AUD 81 (10/15/11)
    REG 83 (11/26/11)

Thanks Kasia. Looking at their website I can't exactly tell if any MCQs/Sims are included. Do you only get that 8 hour video lecture for the $200?

You get the lectures and a book, it ends up being $214 or so with shipping. He has a limited amount of MCQ's (varies per topic but is usually about 10-15 per topic) and SIMS at the end of the chapter. If you choice is one or the other, I would prob go with NINJA notes and the Wiley test bank.

    REG- 81
    BEC- 72,76
    AUD- 67,88
    FAR- 78

    Done!

You get the 8 hour lecture and the Roger Cram Book along with it. I don't know if there are any MCQs included. If you're looking for MCQs though, I thought Gleim has a pretty solid test bank. You can try their trial to get some free MCQ practice.

Money really isn't the issue, but time is. Would you agree that Rogers CRAM supplemented with Wiley Test bank would be my best option with the window I have to re-take REG?

I supplemented Becker the second time around with Roger Cram, Ninja Notes and the Wley test bank. I found all to be valuable, but I believe the Roger Cram clarified certain topics for me. It was well worth the money spent.

    Good luck!!

    BEC: 75 11/8/10
    AUD: 89 2/22/11
    FAR: 78 5/17/11
    REG: 72, 83 10/17/11
    DONE!!!!

porschify, Kasia, and Whenindoubt thanks for all your input…I think I'll go with Rogers Online CRAM, WIley Test Bank, then possibly NINJA notes if I don't feel adequately prepared. Depending on when I get my NTS back I think I'll re-schedule the exam about a month from now.

So anyone with experience with Roger's CRAM care to share how they went about in utilizing it? There are some MCQ in the book but not nearly enough. I'd like to test myself on subject by subject but my Becker software expired back in November and WIley Test bank only provides random questions. Basically looking for more MCQs
