I’m preparing for REG, and have tried some of the CPAreviewforfree problems for th first time. Are these worthwhile to work on? Some of them seem overly picky/tricky…..Thanks for your input.

I don't think they are completely accurate, but at least it can give you the feel for if you are memorizing MCQ from your study materials or if you actually know the subject/material.

I think they were a nice change of pace…plus I got my highest score doing a couple of different programs questions, including these free ones.

I don't have any experience with these particular questions, but if you know the material well enough to handle tricky/picky questions, you should have no problem handling the actual exam problems which, in my experience, were fairly straightforward.

Well there is one of the big rubs of the CPA exam: What material should we know well enough? What Becker says? What ExamMatrix says? What CPAReviewForFree says? There isn't a “candidate body of knowledge” or the like. I have gotten three of the exams on the first attempt, but still feel (and will likely always feel even if I can get REG) that the CPA exam is amorphous, nontransparent, and mysterious….

No, they're not worth it at all. They're not representative of exam questions, they're way too wordy and tricky, they destroy confidence, and they waste time you could be spending studying worthwhile materials.

I hate them. I used them for AUD somewhat and tried them for FAR before giving up after getting like 8/20 a few times for FAR. Don't waste your time. For me, Becker's questions were more than enough.

I used them and loved them because I knew they were harder and if I could master those I could score well on the exams… just my 2 cents though…
