@CPAMan, how did you improve your scores so much? What materials did you use?

    I noticed a serious improvement in your scores – what review materials did you use to improve them so much? What are the best review materials you’ve used to date that have been most useful for the exam?

    To be honest, I'm not sure. I never used the Gleim software during the times I failed, so that may have helped significantly. But I'm not 100% sure, lol. If my REG score shows the same improvement when I take it this Friday, then I can safely say that Gleim was the reason for my score increases.

    Thanks! I was just really impressed with how you did that. So, would you say the Gleim software is helpful? I currently use the Wiley books and only the Wiley books but I'm eventually going to need more questions.

    Yes, the Gleim software was helpful. It contains a lot of additional questions to practice with.

    The Wiley software is on sale…uses the same AICPA questions…and online access updates itself when 2012 rolls out.

    Wiley is online for $59 right now ($99 retail) vs $85 for Gleim

    The Wiley book is good, but the Wiley software is even better. I use both.

    I think the Gleim software is more user-friendly and has more challenging questions. Just my opinion.

    I agree with CPAMan, as I believe Gleim is a better software than Wiley. Just my two cents though.

    I like how they identify questions that are former CPA questions versus Publisher written questions(which are usually much more difficult)

    @atellis3 did you mention what exam you're studying for? My brain is fried at the moment. I noticed you posted in the REG forum though. My score jumped 20 points for REG. A few things I did differently was I bought the Wiley test bank, took intense notes during lectures, then re-wrote them. I also read the ancillary in Becker 3 times! Good luck!
