Hi all,

I took REG exam on November 2013 but I did not pass. I plan to retake again on January 2014. Is there any changes in REG exam in January 2014? I have Becker 2013 material. Do I need to buy the new one 2014?

Some things have changed. For instance, medical AGI floor changed from 7.5% to 10%. So if you didn't update your material, you would get that wrong. The same with Section 179. You can get the new Reg 2014 book for $16.20 from Becker and you can switch to 2014 version for free. I would recommend doing it.

Other than %'s and $$ limitations on some parts, the concepts have not changed.

Actually nothing will change from November 2013 to January 2014. The REG exam is updated every July 1st. The 2013 Becker book was good for the first half of 2013. You will have to go online to get the free updates from Becker. Otherwise, you can buy the 2014 book like JKyle said.
